Ashton is among the most revered premium cigar brands in the world. Founder Robert Levin grew up in the 1950s and ’60s working in his father’s historic Philadelphia cigar shop, Holt’s, took the business over in the 1970s, and in 1985 set out to create a cigar brand of his own.

Shortly after launch, Levin partnered with the legendary Fuente family — Carlos Fuente Sr. and Carlito Fuente — to produce Ashton at the famed Tabacalera A. Fuente factory in the Dominican Republic. Their uncompromising standards of taste, construction and consistency remain the foundation of every Ashton cigar.

Today Ashton is a father-and-son operation led by Robert and Sathya Levin, a perennial Top-5 US brand for over forty years, sold in more than seventy-five countries — built on a portfolio of now-iconic blends from the smooth Classic to the full-bodied VSG.
